ABOUT JON
Hello. I am Jon Carstairs, founder of Play for Parents.

Play for Parents is a blog and online course for parents looking for extra support when playing with their children. I aim to help parents improve the quality of play between adult and child, maximise free play opportunities and understand the theories that underpin great play practice. Drawing on personal experience as a dad, play practioner and improvised comedian, and combining this with play theory and research, I want to support you through your play journey so your child experiences life to the fullest: benefitting from all the skills play helps to develop.
